WordPress Design Services by an Experienced Blogger
It takes time and patience to learn what to look for in a WordPress theme, how to set it up, or which plugins will help catapult your website to the front page of search engines.
What bloggers and businesses don’t know about building an SEO-friendly website can ultimately mute their online results, repel online traffic, and impede website conversions. And waste time.
If done right the first time your blog or website will be an asset that matures over time and pays for itself.
Do you want to work with a person that does freelance WordPress design services for a living –or a WordPress consultant who walks the walk and makes money blogging as a primary source of income?

WordPress Design Process
While you’re here, let’s take this opportunity to walk you through our WordPress design services process before we get started, and show you what you can expect when you work with me as your freelance WordPress designer.
1. Online Questionnaire
Before you hire me as your WordPress designer, I’d like to know a little about your project. We ask that all those who are ready to go and would like to hire our WordPress design services fill out an online questionnaire.
2. Pay for Your Project
We have an efficient process that eliminates much of the back and forth that’s typical of WordPress designers to get it right.
As a result, we’re able charge less than most professional freelance WordPress experts.
We ask the right questions to ensure clarity and precision throughout the process, eliminating hidden complexities and unexpected costs. Once we’re both on board to work together, I’ll email you an invoice that can be paid with PayPal or any major credit card.
3. Discovery and Planning
Once engaged as your WordPress designer, we’ll continue the “discovery” phase and I’ll ask further questions to facilitate planning.
We’ll put together a brief outline of everything we’ll be doing to complete your WordPress consultation and design. This brief will include WordPress design specifications such as your site map, custom page wireframes (on-page content placement), third-party integrations, etc.
We will explain what it all means and how it comes together to ensure that you have a clear understanding of what your project entails. We will work with you to ensure that we meet your personal requirements while adhering to best practices for quality and search engine visibility.
4. WordPress Design
Once a plan is in place, we will begin the design process on your host server and create a “responsive” website for you that looks great on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
We will keep your website from prying eyes behind a “coming soon” page while we’re working on it. This WordPress design phase, with all its back and forth, typically takes anywhere from 1 – 5 weeks.
Once complete, we will hand over access to your website for your review, approval, and/or any last minute tweaks that are within scope.
5. Content Entry
Once your WordPress design is approved we will enter in all content you’ve provided to ensure it looks right.
This may include website pages (home, about, contact us, etc), blog posts, photos, and/or other rich media.
6. Site Testing
Once WordPress design and content entry is complete we’ll work together to test your website, identify any defects that may have surfaced over the course of the project, and correct them.
7. Site Review
Once all loose ends have been completed, we will once again work together to review your website a final time to ensure we’ve covered all of our bases.
After comparing your freelance WordPress design project to our original project plan, we will seek your approval on the finished product.
8. Launch
Once your WordPress design services project is approved we will set up your email addresses and then launch your website for the world to see.
Additional Information
Please note that costs associated to your project are for WordPress design services only.
Any content written or created, such as your about page, blog posts, or logo are separate engagements and will come with their own affordable pricing.
Your project cost is non-refundable. Once you approve something and I’ve started it, going backwards will be outside of project scope and will be billable.
